For students aged 13–18

National Chidon HaTanach

Shabbaton. Quiz. Old friends & new connections.

19–22 November 2026 · Bad Sobernheim

What it’s about

Chidon HaTanach is more than a competition. It gives young people a reason to open the Tanach, to learn regularly and to see themselves in Jewish history. Learning becomes connection, text becomes identity – and teenagers from different cities meet, learn together and make new friends.

Two levels

Level Alef for beginners and Level Bet for advanced participants – anyone can take part, no matter how much prior knowledge they have.

Who can take part

Jewish teenagers aged 13 to 18 – with or without a Jewish school or religious education classes.
