What it’s about
Chidon HaTanach is more than a competition. It gives young people a reason to open the Tanach, to learn regularly and to see themselves in Jewish history. Learning becomes connection, text becomes identity – and teenagers from different cities meet, learn together and make new friends.
Two levels
Level Alef for beginners and Level Bet for advanced participants – anyone can take part, no matter how much prior knowledge they have.
Who can take part
Jewish teenagers aged 13 to 18 – with or without a Jewish school or religious education classes.
Three ways to join the national round

At your Jewish school or in jewish studies classes, June to October 2026. EJKA provides teachers with questions and preparation material.
2 · Online round
