FrauenInsel – Frauen(t)Räume

FrauenInsel is an integration project for refugee women from Ukraine, Iran and Afghanistan, among others, but also for German women who support us with their experience and knowledge.
The aim is to initiate a dialogue and create connections between women of different origins and generations.

Redesigning Jewish cultural and educational work after the pandemic

A project that expands the educational offerings of the EJKA on the basis of the experiences and insights from the pandemic period, continues them and makes them accessible to further target groups in contemporary hybrid or digital formats.

Die Czaks

“The Czaks” are children and young people between the ages of 6 and 16 who like to play theatre and regularly perform on stage.

Shalom Ukraine!

An integrative offer for Ukrainian children who have fled as well as their relatives and mothers. The project management was awarded the Bavarian Order of Merit in 2022.

Janusz Korczak Trainings

How can conflicts be solved on a value-based basis? These and other questions are addressed in this training for educators and interested multipliers. It teaches participants the basics of conflict resolution based on the pedagogy of Janusz Korczak.

Centre for Intercultural and Interreligious Encounters

The European Janusz Korczak Academy has set itself the goal of enabling and promoting intercultural and interreligious encounters and offering them a forum. In a peaceful coexistence, we would like to carry Jewish tradition and Jewish self-image self-confidently to the outside world.

JCTV

„JC-TV – Jewish Challenge TV“ is a media channel of the European Janusz Korczak Academy and the Jewish Agency for Israel. With young, creative contributions, it makes Jewish life in Bavaria and beyond visible and aims to counter conspiracy myths and combat anti-Semitism.

Empowering Jewish Voices

A project of the European Janusz Korczak Academy together with the Jewish Agency for Israel and J-ArtEck for a unique international training course for specialists in preventing and combating anti-Semitism.

The Jquiz

A team game of the European Janusz Korczak Academy on Jewish topics.
Alert minds, logical thinking, attentiveness and team spirit are required. Friends, family members and colleagues form teams and compete against each other. In different rounds, questions are answered in each case. The social evening revolves thematically around “Jewish Peoplehood” in a playful way, as well as puzzles from music, art, advertising and much more.

Global Day of Jewish Learning

What Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz launched in 2009 as the Global Day of Jewish Learning is already a firm, world-spanning tradition. Engaging thousands and thousands of members of the Jewish community from around the world in one day with new and centuries-old Jewish texts is a celebration of learning and gaining knowledge.

Long Night of Jewish Music

With the “Long Night of Jewish Music”, the European Janusz Korczak Academy wants to awaken an understanding for the diversity of Jewish musical traditions. The audience will experience musical performances ranging from jazz to opera, from film music to opera. The musical performances are always garnished with exciting lectures to show the depth of Jewish music and its interaction with other musical traditions.

Team Vision

The Team Vision project is an online social project that addresses 4 themes around politics and social interaction. This project aims to provide a stage for freedom of expression and access to education. The focus is on the topics: Conspiracy myths, radicalisation prevention, debunking stereotypes about customers, and democracy and its threats.

NEVATIM

Nevatim is a programme of the Jewish Agency for Israel, the strategic partner of the European Janusz Korczak Academy. EJKA and Nevatim work closely together in the design and organisation of various projects and seminars.
