Connecting across borders

In the two European rounds held so far, young people from different countries, communities and schools came together. They learned together, encouraged each other and made friendships that last beyond the competition.

The way to the European round

The winners of the national rounds advance to the European round. The best-scoring participants get to represent their countries in to the International Chidon HaTanach in Israel after Pesach 2027.

How to qualify

In Germany, the path to the European round leads through the National Chidon HaTanach – with school rounds, online preliminary rounds and the Shabbaton in Bad Sobernheim (19–22 November 2026).
