Lydia studied Law at Cologne University. She has been an active lawyer and mediator since 2002. Her involvement with the Academy began in 2010, when she started the Jewish family center "Mishpacha". That same year, she started coordinating the Academy's "Global Jewish Peoplehood Program" Trialog. Starting in 2012, she has been a project manager with the Brodt Foundation, whose children and young adults programs she coordinates in and around Munich. In 2016, Lydia took over as Head of Programming at the Academy.
